Kori Pruett focuses her practice on commercial and general corporate litigation. She has extensive experience representing banks, lenders and title insurers in litigation involving high-value commercial real estate and residential properties, loans, mortgages, fraud, and ownership disputes.
EXPERIENCE
Before joining Cole Schotz, Kori was an associate at a large New Jersey firm in the commercial litigation department. She represented multiple title insurers as well as large national corporations in various and complex class actions and general litigation matters. Kori also served as a law clerk to the Hon. Robert T. Lougy in the New Jersey Superior Court.
Kori graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 2021, where she was a member of the Appellate Advocacy team and participated in both the Domestic Violence Clinic and Health Justice Alliance Clinic. She also worked as a law clerk for the U.S. Department of Justice, National Security Division. Prior to her career in law, Kori was a prevention and policy specialist at Florida State University and developed a university-wide Title IX policy and reporting protocol.
