Elizabeth Carbone is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Construction Departments.

 

Experience

Elizabeth, previously a summer associate with the Firm in 2013, formally joined the Firm in September of 2015 following a clerkship with the Honorable Ann Marie Donio, United States Magistrate Judge in the District of New Jersey, Camden Vicinage.

As a federal law clerk, Elizabeth assisted Judge Donio in preparing for and resolving a variety of complex legal issues brought both formally and informally before the Court in connection with all manner of federal cases.

Elizabeth earned her J.D., cum laude, from Rutgers-Camden School of Law. While in law school, Elizabeth interned with United States District Judge Joseph Rodriguez and United States District Judge Freda L. Wolfson, and also served as a staff editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law and Public Policy. In addition, Elizabeth competed in both Rutgers’s Hunter Moot Court Program, where she was a semi-finalist, and the 2013-2014 ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition.

Prior to law school, Elizabeth received her B.A. in political science, magna cum laude, from The College of New Jersey, where she was inducted as a member of Phi Beta Kappa and completed the Honors Program.

Elizabeth is a member of the John C. Lifland Inn of Court.
