New Delaware Chapter 15 Filings – Architel Systems Corporation, Nortel Communications Inc., and Northern Telecom Canada Limited

Ernst & Young Inc., the monitor and foreign representative of Architel Systems Corporation, Nortel Communications Inc., and Northern Telecom Canada Limited, has filed verified petitions for recognition of a foreign proceeding under Chapter 15 of the Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (Case No. 16-12833-KG). These cases are related to the existing Chapter 15 cases that are jointly administered and pending before the Honorable Kevin Gross (In re Nortel Networks Corporation, et. al., Case No. 09-10164 (KG)).  According to the Declaration in Support of Verified Petitions For Recognition of Foreign Proceedings, these cases have been filed in support of insolvency proceedings pending before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, (Commercial List).  The chapter 15 petition of Architel  Systems Corporation is attached.  The Debtors seek joint administration of these cases with all other cases administered under Case No. 09-10164 (KG).
