Cole Schotz P.C. is pleased to announce that five attorneys have been elevated to members of the firm, effective January 1, 2021. The new members include Timothy J. Craddock, Michael J. Kearney, Michael C. Klauder, Patrick J. Quinn and Eric J. Reisman, and are located across the firm’s New Jersey, Texas and Florida offices.

Timothy J. Craddock is a member of the Intellectual Property Group, as well as in the Litigation Department, and is located in the firm’s Texas office. Mr. Craddock primarily focuses on intellectual property litigation involving a broad variety of technologies including computer chipsets, data communications hardware, software-based appliances and applications, and mechanical devices. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Craddock worked as an Engineering Scientist Associate in the Space and Geophysics division of UT Austin’s Applied Research Laboratories developing hardware and software for the maintenance and improvement of the Global Positioning System. Mr. Craddock earned his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law and his B.S. from the University of Texas at Austin.

Michael J. Kearney is a member of the Tax, Trusts and Estates Department and is located in the firm’s New Jersey office. Mr. Kearney represents individuals, families and closely held businesses in all aspects of tax and estate planning, business planning and estate administration. Part of the firm since 2012, Mr. Kearney has represented clients ranging from young couples with minor children needing appropriate wills, to high-net-worth individuals and families needing sophisticated estate planning to minimize estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes for multiple generations. Mr. Kearney’s representation of closely held businesses includes the preparation of stockholders’ agreements, business succession plans and buy-sell agreements and counseling on other business-related issues. Mr. Kearney earned his J.D. from Widener University School of Law and his B.A. from Stonehill College.

Michael C. Klauder is a member of the Litigation Department and is located in the firm’s New Jersey office. Mr. Klauder represents small business owners, commercial landlords and residential/commercial developers among others in the real estate and construction industries. He has resolved numerous contentious issues involving eviction, foreclosure, rent control issues, construction defects, and contract disputes. Mr. Klauder earned his J.D., cum laude, from Rutgers School of Law – Camden and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Rutgers University.

Patrick J. Quinn is a member of the Real Estate Department and is located in the firm’s New Jersey office. Mr. Quinn concentrates his practice on financing, acquisitions and dispositions. He has represented investment banks, private equity funds, opportunity funds and real estate investment trusts on a broad variety of transactions. Prior to joining Cole Schotz, Mr. Quinn was an associate with two Am Law 100 firms. Earlier in his career he worked as a commercial mortgage underwriter for two investment banks. Mr. Quinn earned his J.D. from the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law and his B.S. from Fordham University.

Eric J. Reisman is a member of the Real Estate Department and is located in the firm’s Florida office. Mr. Reisman counsels privately held companies, investors, developers, joint venture partners, management companies, and owners and tenants in various aspects of real estate transactions. His practice focuses on commercial leasing (including retail, office, warehouse and restaurant spaces), acquisitions and dispositions of commercial and residential properties, title examination and resolution, and finance. Mr. Reisman has experience working with developers and contractors from project conception through completion and often negotiates with contracting parties and governmental entities to resolve conflicts to prevent delays and avoid litigation. Mr. Reisman earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and his B.A. from Emory University.
