Just over a year after launching in Miami, Cole Schotz has opened a new 6,100-square-foot office in Brickell City Tower, nearly tripling the firm’s capacity in the city.
Luis Salazar, who launched the firm’s Miami presence alongside Jose Ceide in 2025, told Law360 Pulse that establishing a presence in the heart of Brickell was an important part of the firm’s investment in the market.
“We wanted to be in the heart of Brickell because it’s become the epicenter of Miami’s booming economy,” Salazar said. “It’s where businesses are being built, where investment is flowing, where deals are getting done, and where so many of our clients and professional partners are located.”
The Miami office recently welcomed Corporate Transactions member Jennifer Llano and Tax, Trusts & Estates Special Counsel Megan D. Ferris.
“We’re fortunate to have attracted outstanding lawyers in litigation, corporate transactions, tax, trusts and estates, and real estate,” Salazar said. “We’re building for the long term, and we’re excited about what’s ahead.”
“As people say in Miami, pa’lante! There’s always another opportunity around the corner,” Salazar said. “We’re proud to be part of that growth, and even more excited about the opportunity to help shape what’s next. I truly believe we’re just getting started.”
