In 2021, New York and New Jersey both passed laws legalizing adult-use cannabis. While passed at the same time, New York and New Jersey have taken different approaches in implementing their cannabis programs. In this CLE, we will discuss each state’s relevant statutes, the regulations promulgated thus far, and what issues cannabis attorneys can expect to face while practicing in these jurisdictions.
