Cole Schotz P.C. is pleased to announce the arrival of Cynthia J. Liba as special counsel in the Corporate Transactions Department in the firm’s New Jersey office.

Ms. Liba represents medical practices, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers and individual healthcare providers, as well as healthcare companies and investors. She focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic partnerships, advising clients on complex healthcare and corporate matters from due diligence and structuring through closing and implementation.

Ms. Liba has extensive experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of healthcare and commercial agreements, including physician employment agreements, management services agreements, purchase agreements, operating agreements, payor contracts and technology and vendor agreements. She also advises clients on the legal and regulatory considerations relevant to their businesses and strategic initiatives.

Ms. Liba joins the firm from Brach Eichler LLC, where she served as counsel in the firm’s Healthcare Practice Group. She earned her J.D. and Health Law Certificate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and her B.A. from Binghamton University in Psychology and Philosophy, Politics, and Law.
