Cole Schotz Plants DC Flag, Hires Acting Maryland US Atty
Cole Schotz PC has opened an office in Washington, D.C., announcing its new space Monday alongside news that the firm has hired a former acting U.S. attorney for the District of Maryland.
Phil Selden, who spent three and a half years in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland, has a range of experience working in public service and is joining the firm as a member of its white collar criminal defense and government investigations department and its litigation department, the firm said.
In addition to serving most recently as acting U.S. attorney, Selden worked previously for that office as first assistant U.S. attorney. He’s also worked for the Justice Department as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York, and the District of Columbia, the firm said.
Cole Schotz’s new office is located at 1050 Connecticut Ave. The firm also has offices in New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Texas and Florida, according to its website.
