New Delaware Chapter 11 Filing – United Road Towing, Inc.
United Road Towing, Inc. and twenty-seven of its affiliates and subsidiaries have filed voluntary petitions for relief under Chapter 11 in the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (Case No. 17-10249). The Debtors, headquartered in Mokena, IL, offer vehicle towing, recovery and impound services through a variety of brand names in eight different states. According to the First Day Declaration, the Debtors intend to sell substantially all of their assets through one or more § 363 sales overseen by the Court. Wells Fargo, the Debtors’ pre-petition first lien lender, is the proposed DIP Lender. Rust Consulting/Omni Bankruptcy is the proposed claims agent. The cases have been assigned to the Honorable Laurie Selber Silverstein.
