Louisiana Medical Center and Heart Hospital, a Lacombe, LA based hospital, and its affiliated physicians group, LMCHH PCP LLC, filed petitions for relief under Chapter 11 in the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (Case No. 17-10201).  According to the First Day Declaration, the Debtors’ filing was caused by recent struggles with their profitability and liquidity.  The Debtors have filed for Chapter 11 protection with the intent to pursue a sale of substantially all of their assets, but do not have a pre-arranged stalking horse.  Garden City Group, LLC is the proposed claims agent.  The cases have been assigned to the Honorable Laurie Selber Silverstein.
