Andrew Coder is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department and is based in the firm’s New Jersey Office.
Experience
Andrew is an experienced commercial litigator who represents businesses of all sizes in a wide range of complex commercial and business disputes, including breach of contract litigation, shareholder derivative actions, and partnership disputes. Andrew regularly handles high-stakes cases that are critical to a client’s business success and strategic interests.
In addition to his core commercial litigation practice, Andrew has represented financial institutions as lenders in commercial foreclosure actions and as creditors in bankruptcy cases and related adversary proceedings. He also has experience representing beneficiaries and fiduciaries in contested trusts and estates litigation.
Prior to joining Cole Schotz, Andrew practiced at a mid-sized regional law firm, handling a broad spectrum of commercial litigation matters across multiple jurisdictions. Andrew began his legal career as a law clerk in the Chancery Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County, to the Hon. Edward A. Jerejian, P.J. Ch.
Education
Andrew earned his J.D. from Rutgers Law School (Newark) in May 2022, where he received his Certificate in Corporate and Business Law and served as a member of the Journal of Law and Religion.
Andrew earned his B.A. from Bucknell University in May 2019, where he served as the President of the Mock Trial team.
