The ABCs of the UCC Foreclosure Process

On October 19th, Joseph Barbiere and Michael Yellin will be presenting the following CLE. For more information or to register please click here.

Program Description

Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (“UCC”) establishes a process by which a secured creditor can foreclosure on collateral through a public auction without the need for judicial involvement.  Although the process can be an expeditious means of realizing on collateral, lenders must be aware of the costs, risks, and potential pitfalls associated with a UCC foreclosure.  This webinar will provide an overview of the UCC foreclosure process (with a particular emphasis on the foreclosure of commercial real estate mezzanine loans), as well as explore best practices for completion of a successful sale.
