Vincent Ferrara is an Associate in the Firm’s Litigation Department.
Experience
Vincent A. Ferrara focuses his practice on various complex civil litigation matters in both New Jersey State and Federal court.
Prior to joining the Firm, Vincent clerked for the Hon. Julien X. Neals, U.S.D.J., assisting the court in drafting several dispositive opinions and orders on civil and criminal law issues, including: Patent, Labor and Employment, the First Amendment, civil rights, products liability, transfer venue, personal jurisdiction and subject matter abstention doctrines, putative class actions, the Federal Arbitration Act, CERCLA, and ERISA.
Before his federal clerkship, Vincent was an associate at a well-respected local firm, where he represented commercial and governmental clients. Vincent also served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. John A. Young, Jr., J.S.C., in Hudson County Superior Court.
Vincent graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2022, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board, President of the Peter W. Rodino Society, a McLaughlin Trial Advocacy Program participant, and served as a Student Bar Association senator. Vincent was selected to be a Leadership Fellow, received the Best Oral Advocate award, the Richard L. Barbour Scholarship, the Bergen County Bar Association Scholarship, as well as the Luigi Franzese Award for Leadership, Statesmanship, and Excellence in Achievement.
Vincent also interned for The United States Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey, the Hon. Walter F. Timpone of the New Jersey Supreme Court (ret.), Bergen County Counsel, and the Hon. James X. Sattely, P.J.S.C., in Bergen County Superior Court.
During law school, Vincent also served as a member of both the Elmwood Park Planning Board and Board of Adjustment.
Before law school, Vincent graduated magna cum laude with his B.A. in Jurisprudence and Political Science from Montclair State University.
