Timothy J. Dumbroff is an Associate in the firm’s Bankruptcy & Corporate Restructuring Department.
EXPERIENCE
Timothy focuses his practice on commercial bankruptcy, including reorganizations, liquidations, and related litigation. He represents a broad range of stakeholders in Chapter 11 proceedings and other insolvency matters.
Before joining Cole Schotz, Timothy served as a law clerk to the Honorable John K. Sherwood, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the District of New Jersey. He also clerked for the Honorable Catherine I. Enright, Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division.
Timothy earned his J.D., cum laude from Rutgers Law School—Newark, where he received a certificate in Corporate and Business Law. During law school, he was a senior editor of the Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal and participated in the Bankruptcy Pro Bono Project. Timothy received his B.A., magna cum laude from the University of Rhode Island.
