Mia represents businesses in a wide range of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes and business torts. Drawing from her diverse legal and academic background, Mia combines meticulous attention to detail with a results-driven approach to protect her clients’ interests.

EXPERIENCE

Before joining Cole Schotz, Mia was an associate at a boutique firm focused on complex commercial and civil litigation.  There, she represented businesses, real estate investors, and other clients in all facets of high-stakes disputes. Mia’s practice included navigating intricate contract matters, handling real estate disputes, and providing strategic counsel to ensure her clients’ goals were met both in and out of the courtroom.

Mia graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2020, concentrating her studies on intellectual property. During law school, she served as a problem editor for the Moot Court Honors Society and was recognized with the prestigious Jacob Burns Medal for her achievements in Moot Court. She was also a semi-finalist in the New York Bar Association Moot Court Competition in 2018. Before attending law school, Mia earned a master’s degree in art history from the University of Toronto, where she developed an eye for detail and creative problem-solving that continues to inform her legal practice.
