With significant experience before the Delaware Court of Chancery and Delaware Supreme Court, Jackson helps clients navigate disputes at every stage—from pre-litigation counseling and investigation through trial, post-trial proceedings, and appeal.
Experience
Jackson focuses his practice on Delaware corporate and business litigation, representing directors, officers, companies, stockholders, and other stakeholders. In recent years, Jackson has played pivotal roles in landmark cases that have reshaped Delaware corporate law. His experience includes disputes arising from executive compensation, mergers and acquisitions, stockholder agreements, corporate control, books and records demands, fiduciary duties, DGCL violations and other governance matters, as well as contract claims and fraud.
Jackson takes a central role in developing case strategy, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, preparing expert and fact witnesses, taking and defending depositions, managing complex discovery, and preparing matters for trial and appeal. His extensive experience representing clients on both sides of corporate disputes provides him with a unique perspective on every stage of the litigation lifecycle, enabling him to develop practical, strategic and value-driven approaches that maximize client outcomes at every turn.
Beyond Delaware corporate litigation, Jackson has substantial experience in complex commercial disputes in federal courts. His practice has included antitrust, RICO, ERISA, and federal securities litigation. He has represented clients across industries including technology, hospitality, media, gaming, health care, financial services, insurance, real estate, manufacturing, and distribution.
