Benjamin H. Diamond is an Associate in the Firm’s Litigation Department focusing on complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution for clients across a broad range of industries.
EXPERIENCE
Ben represents business and individuals in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings. He works with plaintiffs and defendants to litigate a variety of claims, including real estate, intellectual property, environmental, financial services, and employment-related disputes.
Ben assists clients through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
Before joining Cole Schotz, Ben was an associate in the litigation group at one of the world’s largest international law firms.
Prior to law school, Ben worked for several years in the financial services and advertising industries. This experience provides him with practical insight into the business considerations that often underlie complex commercial disputes.
Ben is committed to a practical, business-oriented approach to litigation and draws on his prior experience in the corporate world to identify and achieve cost-effective solutions for clients.

Education
Ben earned his J.D., cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law, where he was a member of the Urban Law Journal. He received his B.A. in Economics from Cornell University.
