New Jersey Judge LaConte Joins Cole Schotz Arbitration Group

Former New Jersey Superior Court Judge Thomas LaConte returned to Cole Schotz after two decades on the bench, the law firm said Thursday.

LaConte, who retired from the court in June, will work as of counsel in Cole Schotz’s alternative dispute resolution practice in Hackensack, according to the firm. He will focus on mediating and arbitrating civil disputes, including construction litigation, corporate and commercial cases, and matters involving municipal and local governments.

LaConte recently served on the superior court in Passaic, New Jersey. He worked at Cole Schotz for 30 years before being tapped for a judgeship.
