Law Firm Nearly Triples Miami Office a Year After First Opening

Featuring  Luis Salazar

New Jersey-based law firm Cole Schotz has relocated its Miami office in a move that nearly triples the size of its initial South Florida location that opened a year ago.

The new 6,100-square-foot office is at the 33-story Brickell City Tower at 80 SW Eighth St. in Miami’s financial district. Equipped with 14 private offices and three modern conference rooms, the move replaces the firm’s former 2,700-square-foot office at 2121 SW Third Ave. and comes after some recent hires.

“In twelve months, we’ve gone from establishing a foothold to building a Florida powerhouse. This new space gives us the runway to continue that momentum while delivering the exceptional, hands-on service our clients expect,” said Luis Salazar, partner at Cole Schotz, in a press release from the firm.

Cole Schotz expanded into Miami last year with the addition of three lawyers from the boutique litigation firm Salazar Law.

Salazar added in the release that the new office represents a “long-term commitment to Miami and the entire South Florida region.” Cole Schotz has other offices in the region in Boca Raton and Palm Beach, according to its website, and more than 200 lawyers across the nation.
