IP Litigator Jeffrey M. Saltman Joins Cole Schotz as Member

Cole Schotz P.C. announced the arrival of Jeffrey M. Saltman as a member of the firm’s Litigation and Intellectual Property departments. Mr. Saltman will be based out of the firm’s Baltimore office and work from Washington D.C.

Working closely with in-house counsel and executives, Mr. Saltman is a skilled trial lawyer who develops and executes strategies to help his clients navigate intellectual property and commercial litigation matters. He has deep experience managing all aspects of litigation from the initial filing through trial and has helped secure six successful jury verdicts in federal court.

“Jeff has a track record of successfully securing significant trial victories for his clients,” said Gary Sorden, Co-Chair of the Intellectual Property Department. “His experience andskillset will be a tremendous asset to our colleagues and clients nationwide.”

Mr. Saltman previously served as partner at the intellectual property boutique Fisch Sigler LLP and was a litigation associate at Kaye Scholer LLP earlier in his career. His experience includes examining and cross-examining both fact and expert witnesses at trial, taking or defending more than 100 depositions, drafting dispositive and discovery motions, and preparing and negotiating numerous technology and patent license agreements.

Mr. Saltman earned his J.D. from the George Washington University School of Law and his B.A. from Brown University. He is admitted to the Maryland and Washington, D.C. bars.
