Former Passaic County Judge Rejoins Cole Schotz

After two decades as a Superior Court judge in Passaic County, Thomas LaConte is rejoining Cole Schotz.

In a July 24 press release, the Hackensack-based firm welcomed LaConte as of counsel to its alternative dispute resolution and litigation services.

As part of his new role, LaConte will focus on mediating and arbitrating a wide variety of civil disputes, including construction litigation, corporate and commercial disputes, contract issues, and matters involving municipal and local governments.

LaConte previously served in the law division of the Passaic Vicinage, where he presided over civil trials, evidentiary hearings and dispositive motions before retiring in June.
