Cole Schotz Launches In Miami With Boutique Litigation Trio

Cole Schotz P.C.  announced Monday that it has added a trio of Miami-based litigation attorneys, including two members from local boutique firm Salazar Law LLP, spearheading the firm’s launch into Florida’s economic center.

Members Luis Salazar and Jose Ceide, along with associate Lorenzo Lorenzo Jr., joined Cole Schotz from Salazar Law. The firm also added Miami-based real estate associate Alexander L. Ortiz, who recently joined from Riemer & Braunstein LLP.

Cole Schotz added that Salazar, who had been running the boutique firm for the last 14 years, is in his second stint with the firm, having been an associate in New Jersey from 1992 to 1997.

“Although I moved to Miami for family reasons, I loved working at the firm. I made lifelong friends and colleagues in the short time I was there, and my team and I continued to work jointly with Cole Schotz on many matters in the years since I left,” Salazar told Law360 Pulse. “Our goals are to grow the Miami office to encompass practice areas that are critical to South Florida and with our great weather and terrific legal talent, I’m hoping many of them will come visit and spend time working with us in the Magic City office.”
