New Delaware Chapter 11 Filing – Affiliates of Variant Holding Company, LLC
Thirty-four affiliates of Variant Holding Company, LLC (“Variant”) have filed chapter 11 petitions before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. The debtors will seek to have their cases jointly administered with that of Variant under lead case number 14-12021 (BLS). A declaration filed by Variant early in its chapter 11 proceeding is provided for background information. The petition for Laser Focus Holding Company, LLC (Case No. 16-10068), which contains a consolidated list of the top 20 creditors against the debtors designated as the “H14 Debtors”, is also provided. The petition for Toscana Villas Apartments, LLC (Case No. 16-10101) is also provided, which contains a consolidated list of the top 20 creditors against the debtors designated as the “FX3 Debtors”. It appears from the resolutions attached to the petitions that the debtors will seek to sell their assets pursuant to section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code. The claims agent is UpShot Services.
