New Chapter 11 Filing – Wardman Hotel Owner, LLC

On January 11, 2021, Washington, DC-based Wardman Hotel Owner, LLC, the owner of real property in Washington that formerly operated as the Washington Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, filed a petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (Case 21-10023).  The company reports $100 to $500 million in both assets and liabilities. According to the First Day Declaration, the debtor intends to conduct a sale of substantially all of its assets and wind down its remaining business.
