Cole Schotz Announces Recipient of 2025 Community Impact Scholarship
Cole Schotz P.C. is pleased to announce Sharayah Moore as the recipient of the firm’s 2025 Community Impact Scholarship.
Each year, Cole Schotz recognizes the achievements of a rising second-year, full-time law student by presenting a one-time scholarship of $10,000. Candidates are considered based on their academic achievement, involvement in community service, social justice activities and demonstrated leadership abilities.
In addition to her strong academic credentials, currently ranked first in her class at Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Ms. Moore has demonstrated an interest in community impact. She currently serves as an elected representative for the Student Bar Association and is a volunteer for United Against Human Trafficking. She also became the first in her family to serve as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Air Force. During her time in the U.S. Air Force, Ms. Moore served as a Human Resources Division Director, where she led human resources operations for thousands of servicemembers. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Moore served as a judicial intern at the Los Angeles County Courthouse.
“We are extremely honored to extend this scholarship to Ms. Moore in recognition of her continued commitment to adjacent social justice initiatives inside her community,” said James A. Lewis, V, Chief of Community Engagement and Belonging at Cole Schotz. “She has gone above and beyond in demonstrating her ability to amplify the needs of those she serves, both within her time at the U.S Air Force and as an active volunteer for United Against Human Trafficking.”
Ms. Moore graduated with honors from Azusa Pacific University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and minors in leadership and aerospace studies. She earned her master’s in Business Administration from Liberty University.
