Cole Schotz Announces Recipient of 2023 Scholarship
Cole Schotz P.C. is pleased to announce University of Miami law student Nicole Azarian as the recipient of the firm’s 2023 Scholarship.
Each year, Cole Schotz recognizes the achievements of a rising second-year, full-time law student by presenting a one-time scholarship. In recognition of the firm’s 10th year of providing the scholarship, the scholarship amount has been increased to $10,000. Candidates are considered based on their demonstrated commitment to advancing in the legal profession, academic achievement, and involvement in community service.
Ms. Azarian serves as a legal intern at the University of Miami Human Rights Clinic, has held law clerk positions in Florida and Los Angeles, and has volunteered with the Florida Pro Bono Law School Challenge and Chainless Change, a nonprofit that helps individuals in South Florida who have been impacted by the criminal legal system. An Armenian American, Ms. Azarian aspires to represent women from Armenia, as well as women in the legal profession generally.

Ms. Azarian graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in women’s and gender studies. She is currently earning her JD from the University of Miami School of Law.
