Staff Positions
Seeking a Billing Coordinator to join our New Jersey Office:
Job Duties:
- Prepare and edit client invoices in accordance with firm policies and client guidelines.
- Proficient in E-billing procedures.
- Review and verify accuracy of billing data, ensuring all billable time and expenses are accounted for.
- Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and other staff to resolve billing discrepancies and issues.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding billing and payment status.
- Process write-offs following Firm policy.

Seeking a eDiscovery Project Manager who provides advanced oversight of multiple concurrent litigation projects throughout the electronic discovery lifecycle. Consults with case teams on all aspects of the electronic discovery process. Assists litigation teams to plan, organize and handle their cases in a cost-effective and efficient manner using appropriate technology options. Coordinates integration of practice support technology for attorneys and paralegals; works directly with case teams to define requirements, engage vendors, prepare discovery budgets, and assist case teams in the organization and handling of electronically stored information. This position is hybrid and will report to the New Jersey office 4 days per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
eDiscovery Strategy & Support
- Advise and engage with attorneys (internal and external), paralegals, vendors, and IT to assist with matter management, identification, collection, processing, review, and production
- Refine and adhere to Firm’s protocol to properly document eDiscovery project plans including, workflows, role and task assignments, estimates, timetables, and process improvements
- Act as a point of contact and liaison for eDiscovery and litigation support issues between case teams, litigation support professionals and legal process outsourcers to ensure proper communication between all parties
- Timely record, enter and post billable and non-billable time
Technical & Project Management
- Work alongside litigation support professionals
- Consult and provide comprehensive task support for the duration of matters from early case assessment to archive
- Research emerging technologies and implement new practices to enhance effectiveness of organization
- Assist in management of diverse and demanding electronic discovery projects in a fast-paced environment
- Enhance database effectiveness and promote confidence in advanced technologies by using analytics (including near duplication, threading, clustering, active learning) to identify and locate documents efficiently

- Refine, maintain, update best practices, standard operating procedures, and templates
- Assist in handling cost recovery and invoicing at the case/matter level
Education
- Provide instruction, training, assistance, and support to facilitate adoption and increase fluency of users
- Maintain subject matter expertise and relevant industry certifications including Relativity, ACEDS, etc.
Review
- Development and oversight of document review strategy including the use of AI, analytics, and other technologies
- Conduct training for document reviewers on workspace, review protocols, and best practices

- Track and provide metrics on status of review relative to budget and scope
Vendor Management
- Assist in handling ongoing vendor management with different eDiscovery service providers including evaluating new technologies and services and new tool and software evaluations

Special Knowledge
Position requires high-level knowledge of the litigation process, all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model and the use of technology to support litigation, eDiscovery and other practice group projects.
Technical Skills
High level of experience with Relativity (Master and/or RCA preferred); high level of experience with Relativity Continuous Active Learning; expert-level knowledge of Adobe Acrobat/Nuance/Kofax, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel. Experience with image management software (Relativity processing, LAW or similar) and a working knowledge/ability to oversee/coordinate a legal process outsourcer experienced with trial presentation software (Sanction/Trial Director, OnCue).
