Katie Schwartz is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department.
EXPERIENCE
Before joining Cole Schotz, Katie was an associate in the New York office of a midsize firm focused on commercial litigation. There, she represented businesses, employers, investment firms, hospitality companies, juvenile product companies, and other clients in all facets of complex business disputes. Katie’s practice included navigating complex contract matters, providing advice and counsel to various employer clients and representing them before state and federal agencies.
Prior to that, Katie was an associate in the commercial litigation practice group of a midsize firm working out of the Brooklyn office. There, she represented companies, real estate investors, and the Kings County Democratic County Committee in state court.
Katie graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and the Civil Rights Clinic. Before attending law school, Katie was a litigation paralegal at Cravath, Swaine & Moore.
