Law Firm Real Estate Report
The East Coast logged plenty of law firm real estate activity in November, as several firms, including Baker Donelson Bearman Caldwell & Berkowitz PC and Porzio Bromberg & Newman PC, moved into new offices in New Jersey, New York, Florida and Washington, D.C.
Baker Donelson found a permanent location for its team in Princeton, New Jersey, after opening a temporary space in April. Porzio Bromberg expanded into Florida with a new office in Naples.
Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck LLP has made a strong commitment to its recently launched New York office by finding the team a permanent home at Rockefeller Center. And the team operating Cole Schotz PC’s new Washington, D.C., office moved into a new location a few blocks away.
Here, Law360 Pulse takes a look at some of the big real estate moves by law firms over the past month.
Cole Schotz Moves DC Office to K Street
Months after making its physical debut in the nation’s capital, Cole Schotz PC moved its seven attorneys and additional staff in Washington, D.C., to a new location at 1875 K St. NW, less than a half-mile away from its previous home at 1050 Connecticut Ave. NW.
Cole Schotz had served clients in Washington long before opening its first physical office in the capital in April, according to an announcement from the firm in November. The firm has a total of more than 215 attorneys firmwide with offices in New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Texas and Florida in addition to Washington, D.C.
