Madeline “Maddy” Stein is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department and is a resident of the New York office.

She has been with Cole Schotz since 2019 when she first joined as a summer associate.

Education

Maddy earned her Bachelor of Arts from Claremont McKenna College and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas School of Law.

During law school, Maddy was a member of the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Team and the Texas International Law Journal. Her Jessup moot court team won the Southern Regional Championship in March 2020 and was selected to represent the United States at the International Rounds. She completed a semester-long legislative lawyering clinical program and an internship at the United States Attorneys Office for the Southern District of Texas.

Prior to law school, Maddy was a Fulbright Scholar in Budapest, Hungary and a software implementation consultant.
