Farwa Tahir focuses her practice on commercial and general corporate litigation. She has extensive experience defending corporations in large class actions, multi-county litigations, and general litigation matters in both state and federal courts.
Experience
Before joining Cole Schotz, Farwa was an associate at a large New Jersey firm, where she split her time in the products liability and commercial litigation departments. She represented one of the largest pharmaceutical companies as well as large national corporations in various and complex multi county litigations, class actions, and general litigation matters. Farwa also served as a judicial law intern for the Hon. Zahid Quraishi at the United Stated District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Farwa graduated from Rutgers Law School Newark in 2023, where she was a member of the National Trial Team and competed in several national trial competitions against the best trial teams in the nation. She was also Executive Editor of the Rutgers Law Review. During law school, she worked as a law clerk at a large New Jersey firm and was a semi-finalist in the 2022 Puerto Rico National Trial Competition. She earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Sociology from the University of Florida.
