Christopher Evans is a member in the firm’s Intellectual Property Department.

Experience

Christopher focuses his practice on complex patent infringement cases against large corporations in Federal District Court, Appeals to the Federal Circuit, and administrative proceedings in front of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Notable companies that Chris has been up against include Microsoft, Samsung and Amazon. He also has experience in bankruptcy, contract disputes and securities law, and represents universities and research and development centers in their patent licensing and patent litigation efforts.

Prior to beginning his legal career, Chris worked as an industrial engineer and possesses valuable hands-on technical experience in the field.

Chris received his J.D. from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. He also attended the Pennsylvania State University and received his B.S. in Industrial Engineering.
