Jack Dougherty is an associate in the Bankruptcy & Corporate Restructuring Department and is based in the firm’s Delaware office. Jack has played a role on a number of teams advising chapter 11 debtors, creditor’s committees, liquidating trustees and plan administrators, and other interested parties. In addition to his bankruptcy practice, Jack regularly represents clients in corporate and commercial litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery.

Jack graduated from Emory University School of Law, and earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Emory University Goizueta Business School. While in law school, Jack gained valuable experience interning in a variety of positions, including as a judicial intern for the Honorable Douglas R.M. Nazarian of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, and as a student extern in the in-house legal departments at both The Home Depot and Century Communities. In addition, he served as Executive Managing Editor of the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal.
