We regularly represent sponsors in connection with the formation of private equity, real estate and hedge funds, advising them with respect to the structure, organization and tax aspects of the formation of these various types of funds and compliance with securities and investment company statutes and regulations.  Our practice also includes representing these entities in connection with the different types of lending transactions, investments, acquisitions, and exit transactions in which they may be involved.  In representing these private equity, real estate and hedge fund clients, we bring a multi-disciplinary approach to our representation by utilizing our corporate, securities, tax and bankruptcy and restructuring expertise.
