Boca Raton, FL, October 30, 2017– Cole Schotz P.C. announces today the addition of veteran litigator Scott Topolski as a member in the firm’s Boca Raton office. Mr. Topolski has been practicing for thirty years, most recently as a solo practitioner at Topolski Law Firm, P.A.
“Scott’s arrival adds significant new litigation capabilities to our Florida office, benefiting both local clients, as well as clients with interests in the state,” said Glenn Kazlow, administrative partner at Cole Schotz and a member of the litigation department. “The addition of Scott builds upon the strategic entrance we made into Florida last year, with the opening of our Boca Raton office.”
Mr. Topolski’s practice focuses on a wide range of litigation matters, including probate disputes, breaches of fiduciary duties, contested guardianship hearings, business disputes involving contracts and unfair competition, construction disputes and shareholder and partnership disputes. He is a member of the state bars of New Jersey, New York and Florida.
“Tapping into the wealth of experience and subject matter expertise of a national firm like Cole Schotz affords me countless opportunities to better serve clients,” Mr. Topolski said. “Perhaps equally important is that the firm provides me the platform and support necessary to expand on what I love most, namely, complex and commercial litigation work.”
Mr. Topolski, a certified circuit court mediator and qualified arbitrator, has lectured extensively on topics such as insurance law, debts and judgments. He is authorized to practice before the U.S. District Court for District of New Jersey, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Mr. Topolski earned his J.D. from Rutgers Law School in 1987, and received his B.A. from Rider University in 1984.
Cole Schotz opened its Boca Raton office in April 2016.
