Chapter 11 Plans & What it Takes to Achieve Confirmation: CLE Presentation at Cole Schotz New Jersey Office

November 10, 2016Attorneys: Donald H. Steckroth and Jacob S. Frumkin

Program Description:
In order to confirm a chapter 11 plan the debtor must comply with the myriad requirements of the Bankruptcy Code, within the confines of the case law precedent of the jurisdiction in which the chapter 11 case is being administered. The types of chapter 11 plans that have been confirmed and the breadth of “deals” that have been negotiated in connection with the chapter 11 plan process, however, allow for flexibility. This webinar will examine the steps that a chapter 11 debtor must take in order to confirm a plan, from the filing of the plan and disclosure statement through confirmation, and highlight the types of chapter 11 plans that are routinely confirmed in chapter 11 cases.
