Bankruptcy Associate- Delaware Office:

Seeking an Associate with 1-5 years of experience to join our Wilmington, Delaware office and be part of a team working on matters in Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Texas and Florida. We seek a motivated individual devoted to meeting the highest standards of excellence and serving clients, and who wants to be part of an established and dynamic office and firm Litigation experience is a plus; interest in litigation is required. Delaware bar is required, additional Bar(s) New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Texas, District of Columbia and/or Virginia a plus. Strong academic credentials and excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

Real Estate Attorney/Retail Leasing- New Jersey /New York /Delaware /Maryland /Florida/ Texas Offices:

Seeking an Attorney with 5 plus years general commercial real estate experience with an emphasis in retail leasing to join our Firm in any one of our office locations. Candidate must be admitted to practice law in the state where their resident office will be located. Strong academic credentials, excellent oral and written communication skills required.

STAFF POSITIONS


Bankruptcy/Litigation Paralegal- Delaware Office:

Seeking a Bankruptcy/Litigation Paralegal for our Delaware Office. Responsibility for matters in Bankruptcy and Litigation to include document retrieval, organization and review, deposition digesting, monitoring of document production and trial preparation assistance, document review and drafting, case management and calendaring. Experience with chapter 11 matters is strongly preferred. Knowledge of, and ability to electronically file (CM/ECF) pleadings also required. Experience with electronic discovery is a plus. Overtime required.
Candidates must be highly organized and possess the ability to prioritize, be a team player, and have excellent written and verbal skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe plus. College degree and/or paralegal certificate and 2 to 3 years of experience preferred.

Director of Information Technology- New Jersey Office:

Seeking a Director of Information Technology. Responsible for 24x7 operation of the firm’s computer systems and applications. Oversees information systems personnel, including selection, training and personnel development. Defines and keeps current department policies and procedures.

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Responsible for development and implementation of projects which enhance the firm’s computer systems and applications. Takes projects from concept to final implementation. Develops detailed plans including integration of firm personnel with services provided by outside resources. Provides technical guidance to project teams to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget;
  2. Ensure maximum availability of the firm’s computer systems to personnel in all of the firm’s offices;
  3. Responsible for hardware and software approval and purchases;
  4. Responsible for hardware and software approval and purchases;
  5. Responsible for inventory control and license administration;
  6. Responsible for the administration of the department’s expense budget including variance reporting on a monthly basis.
Qualifications:
  1. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  2. Minimum 5 years supervisory experience. Minimum 5 years experience in the management, design and implementation of enterprise computer systems. Expert knowledge of Microsoft network operating systems, expert knowledge of desktop operating systems and virtualization systems, required. Experience with SQL preferred. Experience with implementation and management of document management, electronic mail, finance management and CRM applications preferred. Microsoft Exchange experience preferred.
  3. 4-year college degree preferred, comparable experience considered.
  4. Minimum of 5 years experience in the management, design and implementation of Windows computer systems. Experience administering and maintaining Microsoft SQL, Microsoft IIS and Microsoft Active Directory is desirable. Experience administering and maintaining networking infrastructures. Experience with telephony technologies. Experience with Exchange administration preferred.
  5. Previous employment managing information technology in a legal environment strongly preferred.
  6. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) preferred, but not required.
  7. Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred, but not required.
  8. The ability to read, speak, write and understand English. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.


Help Desk Technician- New York Office:
 
Seeking a Help Desk Technician to join our New York Office. Duties include providing hardware and software technical assistance to the firm’s users. Troubleshooting, support and provide general assistance to senior technical staff. Setup video conferences to other firm offices as well as outside entities as requested. Maintain inventory of firm technical equipment and supplies. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively, both independently and in a collaborative team environment; must be self-motivated and self-driven. Provide, on a rotating basis, after hours on-call coverage for end user support. Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop environment, Computer desktop and laptop hardware repair and knowledge, Microsoft Office 2010/2013/2016 with particularly strong working knowledge of Outlook and Word, Adobe Acrobat, Smartphones and all mobile devices. Legal specific software such Filesite, Worksite, Workshare, etc preferred. Applicant needs to have strong interpersonal skills as well as good aptitude to learn new tasks quickly. Law firm or professional service firm background a plus.
 

Legal Practice Assistant- Delaware Office:

Seeking a Legal Practice Assistant (LPA) for our Wilmington, DE Office. 3+ years legal experience to support members of the firm, associates and paralegals in the areas of Bankruptcy and, Corporate/Commercial Litigation. Candidates should possess excellent communication and organizational skills. LPA will work directly with attorneys to prepare, review/edit and efile case pleadings, assist with case projects, maintain case calendar, and maintain case files. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe required; knowledge of FileSite, PowerPoint, and Federal and State Court Electronic Filing a plus. Some overtime required.
