Adam Sklar's practice focuses on construction litigation, commercial litigation, including collections, business and contract disputes, employment discrimination and whistleblower litigation, and consumer fraud litigation. He has been involved in matters in the state courts of New Jersey and New York at the trial level, as well as the federal and appellate courts of New Jersey.
Mr. Sklar was formerly an associate at Sternlieb & Dowd, L.L.C., which merged its practice with Cole, Schotz, Meisel, Forman & Leonard, P.A. in 2005. Previously, Mr. Sklar served as law clerk to the Honorable Sylvia B. Pressler, Presiding Judge of the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey.
Mr. Sklar has lectured on the subject of construction lien claims and other contractor and subcontractor remedies in New Jersey for the National Business Institute and for West LegalEdcenter, and has co-authored practice guides in connection with such engagements.
