W. John Park's practice includes acquisition, disposition, leasing, financing (particularly conduit/securitized lending), and construction of commercial properties for an array of lenders, retail developers and occupants.
Before emigrating to the United States in 1992, Mr. Park practiced as an attorney in New Zealand, spending five years with Phillips Fox, one of the largest law firms in New Zealand. He subsequently practiced with Eversheds, a large London law firm with offices throughout England, the Channel Islands, and Europe, for three years. In both England and New Zealand, he advised banks, real estate investors, developers and lenders in all aspects of leasing, development and financing of real estate transactions and related corporate matters.
Noteworthy
Mr. Park has been awarded an AV rating for his professionalism and the quality of his legal work from Martindale-Hubbell, the premier directory of legal professionals. He has also been selected by his peers for inclusion in the prestigious 2007 Best Lawyers in America in Real Estate Law.
