Steven Klepper's extensive experience focuses primarily on complex commercial and corporate litigation, business and contract disputes, shareholder actions, commercial real estate disputes and employment law.

He has been involved in matters at the trial level in the state and federal courts of New Jersey and New York, in appellate courts in New Jersey and New York, in the United States Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He also has extensive experience in proceedings before the American Arbitration Association and the NASD. Mr. Klepper has successfully represented many Fortune 500 companies and banks. He is fluent in French and Spanish and has represented numerous international companies.

Mr. Klepper has conducted several lectures on New York civil practice.

Mr. Klepper has been associated with Cole Schotz since 1997, and became a member of the firm in 2002.

Mr. Klepper has been awarded an AV rating for his professionalism and the quality of his legal work from Martindale-Hubbell, the premier directory of legal professionals.

Mr. Klepper has been published in the New Jersey Law Journal on various topics including in the areas of employment law, defamation and damages in commercial cases.

Mr. Klepper was a contributor to an article entitled "Recharacterization of Industrial Development Bond Real Property Leases in Bankruptcy Cases" which was published in the The Banking Law Journal.
