James Kim's practice emphasizes complex commercial and corporate litigation in the federal and state courts. A former summer associate, he joined Cole, Schotz, Meisel, Forman & Leonard in 1998 upon graduation from George Washington University Law School. Mr. Kim focuses his practice in the areas of chancery litigation, shareholder disputes, corporate dissolutions, foreclosure, unfair competition and intellectual property litigation. He also has litigated complex adversary proceedings in the bankruptcy courts.
Noteworthy
Mr. Kim was selected by the New Jersey Law Journal as one of "40 Under Forty," young achievers in the state. Previously, the Law Journal had selected him as one of only 50 attorneys included in its notable "Women and Minorities in the Legal Profession." He has been selected for inclusion in New Jersey Super Lawyers® Rising Stars in Business Litigation and was named a New Jersey "Future Star" by Benchmark Litigation 2010: The Guide to America's Leading Litigation Firms and Attorneys.
