Kenneth Baum's practice is concentrated in bankruptcy, creditors' rights, workouts and commercial litigation, in both the federal and state courts. Mr. Baum represents private and publicly traded companies, private lenders, real estate investment trusts, venture capital groups and other entities in complex commercial and insolvency matters. He has counseled distressed companies in industries including healthcare, construction, real estate development and security, providing advice on financial restructuring, turnaround management and development of business alternatives.
Mr. Baum has lectured on bankruptcy law on behalf of the New York State Bar Association, the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the American Business Institute and the Bergen County Bar Association.
Noteworthy
Mr. Baum is the Chairman of the New Jersey Alumni Club of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He is also an elected councilman in his hometown of Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, where he serves on the parks and recreation, ordinances, education, and health and welfare committees.
