Kenneth Baum's practice is concentrated in bankruptcy, creditors' rights, workouts and commercial litigation, in both the federal and state courts. Mr. Baum represents private and publicly traded companies, private lenders, real estate investment trusts, venture capital groups and other entities in complex commercial and insolvency matters. He has counseled distressed companies in industries including healthcare, construction, real estate development and security, providing advice on financial restructuring, turnaround management and development of business alternatives. 

Mr. Baum has lectured on bankruptcy law on behalf of the New York State Bar Association, the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the American Business Institute and the Bergen County Bar Association.

Mr. Baum is the Bergen County Coordinator for the New Jersey Bankruptcy Lawyers Financial Literacy Project, an entity created by the New Jersey Bankruptcy Lawyers Foundation and devoted to promoting financial literacy among high school and college students on issues including credit, credit cards and identity theft.
