Joseph Barbiere’s practice emphasizes commercial litigation with a focus on matters involving real estate disputes, shareholder/partnership discord, commercial tenancy issues, chancery litigation, commercial transactions and construction related disputes. Mr. Barbiere has litigated matters at the trial level in New Jersey and New York State and Federal courts and the state and federal appellate courts of New York and New Jersey. He has represented and counseled clients in numerous arbitration and mediation proceedings and appeared before various administrative bodies. Mr. Barbiere has lectured before community groups and professional associations in the areas of debtor/creditor law and commercial disputes and has authored articles on business torts and commercial real estate law.
In 2009, Mr. Barbiere was recognized by New Jersey Super Lawyers as a rising star among practitioners.
