Jason Finkelstein is an associate in both the Firm’s Bankruptcy & Corporate Restructuring and Litigation Departments. Mr. Finkelstein’s bankruptcy practice includes corporate reorganizations, creditors’ rights, out-of-court workouts, preference and avoidance actions, resolution of insolvency-related issues and bankruptcy litigation. In these areas, he has represented debtors, creditors, creditors’ committees and liquidating trustees.
Mr. Finkelstein’s litigation practice spans across white collar criminal defense, complex commercial litigation, contract disputes involving claims of fraud, bad faith, and breach of fiduciary duty, employment and whistleblower actions, pursuit and defense of collection actions, and foreclosure matters on behalf of both lenders and borrowers.
While in law school, Mr. Finkelstein was a summer clerk in the chambers of the late Judge John Sprizzo in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, as well as a summer associate at Cole Schotz.
