Gary M. Albrecht is the co-chair of the Real Estate Department and is an experienced transactional attorney who is committed to the success of his clients.

He has developed a diverse and national commercial real estate practice focused on the acquisition, financing, brokerage, development and sales of commercial real estate and dispute resolutions. 

A significant portion of Gary's practice is dedicated to leasing.  He represents both landlords and tenants in shopping center leases involving "big box" and "junior anchor" stores and related documents such as development agreements, reciprocal access agreements and commercial condominium documents.

Mr. Albrecht has been awarded an AV rating for his professionalism and the quality of his legal work from Martindale-Hubbell, the premier directory of legal professionals. 

He has been included in 201 Magazine's list of Top Lawyers in Bergen County for 2011.

Gary was selected for inclusion in the 2010, 2011 and 2012 editions of The Best Lawyers in America® in the specialty of Real Estate Law. In 2006 through 2009, he was named to the list of New Jersey Super Lawyers® Rising Stars in Real Estate.

Gary was featured in a "Meet the Lawyers" article in the May/June 2009 issue of Real Estate New Jersey highlighting many of the State's most prominent real estate attorneys.

Mr. Albrecht has been selected by three separate publications for inclusion in "Forty Under 40" features:

• In 2006, he was recognized by the New Jersey Law Journal as one of New Jersey's top forty attorneys under 40 years of age.
• In 2008, he was profiled by Real Estate New Jersey magazine as one of forty rising stars of New Jersey's commercial real estate industry.
• In 2008, he was honored by NJBiz as being one of forty top business people in New Jersey under 40 years of age.

Mr. Albrecht is a member of the Board of Directors of Bergen County's United Way. 

He is a graduate of the inaugural class of Bergen LEADS, a leadership program focused on issues relating to Bergen County, New Jersey, and serves on its Advisory Panel.
