David Bass concentrates his practice in bankruptcy and restructuring, insolvency and creditors’ rights, and related litigation. He has represented a broad spectrum of clients in bankruptcy, complex commercial litigation and loan workouts. Mr. Bass has also represented trustees and official committees in bankruptcy cases throughout the United States. He is experienced in all aspects of reorganization and liquidation matters, and has considerable expertise in litigating disputes arising under the Uniform Commercial Code, as well as other business and commercial litigation.
In 1993 and 1994, Mr. Bass served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Novalyn L. Winfield, U.S.B.J., United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.
Mr. Bass has lectured on various aspects of bankruptcy law to new lawyers as part of New Jersey’s Institute for Continuing Legal Education and has served as a panelist in the annual William H. Gindin Bankruptcy Bench Bar Conference.
