Harold Tolchinsky concentrates in commercial transactions involving retail, industrial development and office properties. His practice encompasses acquisitions, sales, leasing, shopping center and residential development, sales/leasebacks and financing. He has particular experience in commercial and retail leasing.

Mr. Tolchinsky was Assistant Real Estate Counsel with Supermarkets General Corporation. Subsequently, he joined The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, Inc., where he served as Assistant General Counsel, Vice President of Surplus Properties and Director of Real Estate. He joined Cole Schotz in 1985.

Mr. Tolchinsky has been awarded an AV rating for his professionalism and the quality of his legal work from Martindale-Hubbell, the premier directory of legal professionals.  He has also been selected by his peers for inclusion in the prestigious 2008 Best Lawyers in America in Real Estate Law and as a New Jersey Super Lawyer in Real Estate Transactions since 2005.
