John Stewart provides advice and counsel on real estate law and finance. His practice emphasizes all aspects of real estate transactions. Mr. Stewart represents institutional and private lenders as well as owners and developers in all aspects of their activities, including acquisition and financing of commercial real estate and interests in real estate, and leasing of commercial real estate. Mr. Stewart is also part of Cole Schotz’s Construction Services Department and represents owners and developers on various construction projects in New Jersey, New York and other states.
Prior to joining Cole Schotz, Mr. Stewart practiced with New York City law firms, where he represented banking and lending institutions in the financing of commercial real estate and related financing matters and investors and developers in the acquisition and development of commercial properties.
