Stanley Stern's practice focuses on real estate and commercial law, concentrating in industrial, multi-family, office and vacant land properties as well as commercial, corporate, partnership, limited liability company, joint venture and business matters. His practice encompasses the structuring acquisition, financing, sale, development and leasing of industrial, office, commercial and residential real estate, municipal land use, tax abatement, and tax liens.

Mr. Stern has been in private practice in New Jersey since 1963 and was a co-founder of his own firm from 1970 to 1986. He joined Cole Schotz as a member of the firm in 1986.

Mr. Stern has lectured before business and professional organizations on real estate and environmental matters and is a member of local, state and national bar associations.

Mr. Stern has been awarded an AV rating for his professionalism and the quality of his legal work from Martindale-Hubbell, the premier directory of legal professionals.  He currently is selected for inclusion in New Jersey Super Lawyers, New York Area's Top Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America® for Real Estate Law.
