Jacob Frumkin is an associate in the firm’s Bankruptcy & Corporate Restructuring Department. He represents debtors, secured and unsecured creditors and other parties-in-interest in various aspects of bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court restructurings.
Jacob’s recent representations include:
Prior to joining Cole Schotz, Jacob was a restructuring and finance associate at DLA Piper LLP (US) and a Special Assistant District Attorney at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, New York.
Jacob graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 2009, where he was a Notes and Comments Editor of the Journal of Law and Policy. During law school, Jacob was a Lloyd F. MacMahon Fellow at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and a judicial intern for the Honorable Henry Pitman, Magistrate Judge in the Southern District of New York.
Jacob is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the American Bar Association.
